Simply Salted Caramel

Simply Salted Caramel

This recipe makes roughly 300ml

300ml Double Cream

170g Light Brown Sugar

50g Butter

1-2tsp Sea Salt/Maldron

  1. Melt down the the butter and sugar in a small saucepan on medium heat until melted and combined.

  2. Stir in Cream and while stirring, continue to heat for a few minutes until slightly darker and golden brown in colour.

  3. Add in the salt to taste. (Obviously let it cool slightly before tasting it)

  4. Let cool as it helps thicken!
