Gin & Rosemary Lemonade

A simple but STUNNING little drink. It gives off super summery vibes and is very refreshing. I always fine bottles of Limoncello sitting around the house and never know what to do with it (aside from delicious buttercreams) this is perfect.

I made this alongside some delicious Salted Caramel & Honeycomb Chocolate Cupcakes , are they a good pairing? Not exactly, are they both delicious, ofcourse.

Gin & Rosemary Lemonade

This recipe makes two glasses! I use a 60cl (cactus) shaker aswell.

Ingredients

1 shot (45ml) Limoncello

1 shot (45ml) Gin ( I aim for neutral, not super dry/floral)

1 shot (45ml) Rosemary Simple Syrup*

1 shot (45ml) Fresh Lemon Juice

Lemonade (roughly 600ml)

Ice

Rosemary Sprigs & Lemon peel to garnish

*For the Rosemary Simple Syrup I simmered 100g Sugar to 100ml Water with two sprigs of rosemary on a low heat for 5-10 and let infuse for a few hours

  1. Firstly fill your serving glasses with ice and set aside. Now fill your shaker about 3/4 up with ice and pour over your Limoncello, Gin, Rosemary Syrup & Lemon Juice.

  2. Shake well for roughly 30 seconds and pour over ice, fill up the rest of the glass with Lemonade.

  3. Garnish with Rosemary sprigs & Lemon Peels (rub the peel across the rim if you're feeling fancy.)

  4. Finally enjoy!!

I hope you enjoy this recipe, if you try it out be sure to tag me on my socials (below and above) xx
