Hello lovies! Here's a fab recipe from my Harry Potter themed Dona Bakes! The best part? They're ALCOHOLIC Butterbeer floats, yes you can make them without but as an adult potter fan, this is the nerdiest and most delicious drink you can make especially for a Potter-themed party. What better to go with butterbeer than Pumpkin Pasties!!
This drink doesn't need to be an ice cream float at all, without the icecream it still tastes delicious! Usually I would make my own butterscotch however I find the dairy in can look odd mixed into a fizzy drink so I aim to use pre-made syrups!
Butterbeer Float
This recipe makes one portion.
Ingredients
2tsp Butterscotch Syrup
1 shot Spiced Rum (or 1/2 tsp Rum essence)
Ice
American Cream Soda
(Optional) Vanilla Icecream
In your serving glass, add two teaspoons of butterscotch syrup. Pour in your spiced rum or rum essence and stir to combine.
Add in your ice, stir and fill up with cream soda.i
(Optional) Add two big scoops of Icecream ontop and enjoy!
